At Christmas, you see them everywhere: white and red candy canes that immediately feel a bit nostalgic. In Gränna, Sweden, they are part of the tradition not only in December, but all year round.

Granna is situated on Lake Vättern and is known for its polkagriser, the famous Swedish peppermint canes that are still made here by hand.

If you want to enjoy a delicious meal out, Gyllene Uttern is an excellent choice, with its panoramic views, and you can go straight to the waterfall and watermill located down by the lake.
